Fine-Tune Technique
If the black ink of your printer is not dark enough, during soft proofing in Photoshop, the phenomenon of shadow bleaching is found. Then, there is obvious brightness difference between the display and your actual color print out. With QC's Fine-Tune technique, you can easily make an exclusive soft proofing monitor profile for your printer. As a result, you can see the accurate screen simulation proof after Fine-Tune, without the unwanted shadow bleaching.
Monitor Profile Editor
The white point of monitor profile must be same as the viewing conditions. Even you use the measuring device to measure the ambient light of your proofing environment, there is still slightly difference between them. This slightly difference affects the result of softproofing and will make it not perfect. You can use QC Monitor Profile Editor's RGB Colorant to adjust the white point, an amazing perfect match you never seen.
Proof Setting
When you are softproofing in Photoshop, it only allows two profiles conversion. If you need to use a inkjet printer to simulate the result of an actual one from source profile (digital camera or scanner) to printing press profile, Photoshop must need to convert image data(from source profile to printing press profile) before softproofing (printing press profile to inkjet profile). QC can perform up to 4 profiles conversion at the same time in softproofing, you can easily preview your final result for any combination without actual image data conversion.
